Our Roots

Asbel Farms was founded by Nicholas Allen, a disabled veteran and lifelong student of the natural world. Inspired by his mother’s service and green thumb, and driven by his own healing journey, Nicholas established Asbel Farms to give back to the coastal community of Mayport Village.

"Wonderwood by the Sea" is a nod to a storied past and a hopeful future — named after an early 1900s seaside resort, and

a tribute to strong women, local heritage, and natural renewal.
